K is Kirk Monteux,
Kirk is responsible for the sound and production of the S&K Project.
Together with Brian, they both focus on producing the typical DDR sound and arrangements.
The classic guitarist has been a street musician, later then connecting to the electro music scene in Berlin in 1983 (Institute of Sound performance / Tangerine dream).
2 years later Kirk had his first gigs as a DJ and 1989 founded his recording studio, where he worked on Re mastering of albums for famous bands such as ZZ-top, The who, Cat stevens and janis joplin.
1997 Kirk and Brian started the S&K project and released "Get up n move", which quickly developed itself to be a very successful track in Japan and South East Asia.
Get up n move was included in the arcade game "Dance Dance Revolution". The playstation version sold over 1 Million copies, and has since been a big hit in Japan and other parts of the world.
In later years Kirk and Brian produced projects such as DJ Kirk,
Lara Herrmann.
